FAQ - Photo Bags

How do I submit my photos to you for a Photo Bag?
You will have the option to upload your photos after you place your item in the cart. Please view the image file requirements below for proper sizing. If your image has uploaded successfully you will see "Image Uploaded Sucessfully" on your screen with a link so you can view the full size image that you just loaded.
Please make a note that if you ordered a bag with an image on both sides image 1 will always be your front image and image 2 will always be the back image. If you want the same image on both sides just load the photo twice

You can send us an email with the photos attached. Please be sure to include your order number in the email. Label your photos or give us direction if you chose a 2 sided item and want to include different photos on each side. Please also include a note if you need any photo adjustments such as turning the photo to black and white or cropping.

If you would prefer to send something by mail, your photo(s) will be returned to you; however, we cannot be responsible for photos that are damaged or lost. The photo that you send in via the mail must be an actual photo, not a photocopy or print. Only scans from traditional photo paper are acceptable. Do not send scans reproduced from laser, inkjet or bubble jet printer/copiers. Scan all prints at 300 DPI and save as a .JPG file type. Please send the photo(s) to:

Photo Requirements
All images should be at least 4" x 6" in size. If you have a digital image, please upload the photo as a .jpg file. Make sure the image is saved at a minimum of 1024 x 768 pixels or more. The file size should be a minimum of 200KB and a maximum of 2MB. A minimum 2 Megapixel digital camera is required.

Photo Tips:
Digital images are computer files which, when opened with the right program, display a picture on your computer screen.

When a computer displays a digital image, it takes the data in the file and displays thousands of tiny dots on your screen. Each of these dots is called a pixel. The more pixels an image has, the more detailed the picture can be. Image quality is measured by pixels per inch, also called dots per inch, or dpi.

We strongly recommend that your digital pictures be at least 1024 pixels wide and at least 768 pixels tall. Here is how to make sure you have an image that is at least our recommended size:

If you already have an image on your Windows computer:
Open My Computer.
Find the image you want to use.
Set your mouse pointer on the image, click the RIGHT mouse button once, and release. A small menu will appear.
Set your mouse pointer at the bottom of the menu on Properties (It will highlight), click the LEFT mouse button once, and release. A new screen will pop up.
You should see several tabs across the top of the page. One of them will say Summary. Click it. You should see a list of image properties. Width is the image width in pixels, and Height is the image height in pixels.

If you are planning on taking a picture with a digital camera:
Make sure you have a camera that takes pictures at 2 megapixels or larger.
Make sure your camera is set to the highest setting before taking a picture.
Save Images in a JPG format
Refer to your cameras manual for more details.

If you are scanning a 4" x 6" (regular photo size) image:
Set the scanner resolution to 300 dpi or higher and save the image in a JPG format.
If your scanner does not have a dpi setting, use the highest available setting.
Refer to your scanner's manual for more details.

How do I keep my bag clean?
For regular cleaning maintenance, go over your handbag with a lint brush. You should apply Scotchguard or a similar product that will repel moisture and water when you first receive the bag. For further cleaning, please use a damp soft towel with warm soapy water to remove dirt from the bag.

Do the images snap to the front of the bag (i.e. are they removable)?
No, images do not snap on the bag, therefore they are not removable.
